After a preliminary selection made in October by a hundred or so experts, 30 finalists were retained for the 17th annual edition in 5 categories including Moonshot 2040, category open to French and foreign projects.
The 5 prizewinners each received €12,000 as well as a trophy symbolic of urban innovation: an authentic Parisian street sign.
Steered by Paris&Co, the innovation and economic development agency of Paris, with the support of the City of Paris, this competition is eagerly awaited each year by the innovation community. It represents a turning point in the life of its prizewinners, giving them strong visibility with the general public and investors. Clothilde Chalot, winner of the 2017 Innovation Grand Prix and founder of the startup NoMadMusic, attests: “The Innovation Grand Prix has been an enormous trampoline for my business.
