Following their participation in the Hacking de l’Hôtel de Ville (City Hall Hacking event) and the support received from Paris&Co, the Chinese start-up, Hanshow Technology, has finally installed its European office in the capital. This installation was also marked by a partnership signed between the start-up and Auchan Retail. A good start for Hanshow on European soil.
Hanshow Technology offers connected label solutions that allow customers and retailers to improve their sales experience and stock management. Thanks to the central control of digital labels, the prices displayed on the labels are extremely reliable. In addition, LED displays provide better price readability. Finally, thanks to a geo-positioning system, the products on the shelves can be located by customers as well as retailers, using the Auchan application.
The partnership initially foresees a test phase for connected labels on a panel of Auchan stores in France and Luxembourg and, following that, their implementation in all Auchan group stores.
Hanshow Technology, which currently offers more than 5 million connected labels in over 20 countries worldwide, has chosen Paris as the location for their European headquarters. Following their participation in the Hacking de l’Hôtel de Ville in 2015, via the Digital In-Pulse program of Huawei, the Hanshow Technology team was introduced to Paris&Co. The economic and innovation development agency of Paris, therefore, helped the company to establish itself in France. Paris&Co provided a range of support: proposal for accommodations, recommendations for trustworthy service providers in Paris, and more. In addition, Hanshow ran into a lot of problems with French banks. Antony Goichon, the Paris&Co partner, solved the problem and helped install Hanshow Technology in Issy-les-Moulineaux 6 months ago. Truly good news for the French capital which confirmed its appeal and central role in the international ecosystem of innovation!
