LE CARGO: the biggest parisian innovation platform, by Paris&Co

A catalyst of innovation in the creative and cultural industries.

Aware of the need to understand new uses and media connected with digital content and the creative industry, Paris&Co and its partners are offering an exceptional, dedicated site to young innovative companies with a strong identity connected to the creative industries and digital content in their widest application.

The property of 15,000 m² across six floors is located in the north-east of Paris between Porte de la Villette and Porte d’Aubervilliers and connects to tram line T3b and St-Lazare train station in 12 minutes via line E (Rosa Parks station). It is part of the project to convert the Macdonald warehouses, built in the 1960s, that the government of the city initiated in order to renew the areas that extend along both sides of the Eastern Ring.

Developed at the intersection between Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis, this dedicated site is strategically located and is part of the policy of the local governments of Paris and the region of Île-de-France to promote innovation. It is one of the foundation stones of the 'Arc of Innovation' that will make the capital diverse, sustainable, inventive and open to synergies and exchange with its neighbouring cities.

In this favourable geographical context, LE CARGO, the media innovation platform, will be working closely with local entities such as Plaine-Commune's Territoire de la Création, Média Grand Paris, Cité des Sciences, Philharmonie de Paris, 104, numerous cultural/musical/innovative projects concentrated in the north-east area of Paris, and others.

With its experience of close to 15 years launching and managing incubation and innovation schemes, Paris&Co has chosen to seize this opportunity to make this space a key site in the city for innovation in the world of media.

For this purpose, Paris&Co is launching a call for applications in order to integrate LE CARGO's startup incubator, which will begin operating in November 2015.
