France remains on the podium in the Top 100 Global Innovators
With 10 French organizations among the world’s 100 leading innovators in 2016, France remains third in the world and in first place in Europe, with three R&D centers (CNRS, CES, IPF Energies Nouvelles), and seven companies (Alstom, Arkema, Safran, Saint-Gobain, Thales, Valeo, and Total) making the list.
France’s pro-active innovation policy, underpinned by the research tax credit, continues to bear fruit, with France’s excellent performance in the standings reflecting the high level of government and business investment in R&D and innovation.
